Message text: Call to external tax jurisdiction provider failed
Tax jurisdiction codes are determined by an external provider. The call
to the provider failed because of one of the following reasons:
The address country is not maintained. The country is mandatory to
determine the external provider.
The address data is invalid.
The connection to the external provider is not configured correctly.
The system cannot use the external provider to determine tax
jurisdiction codes. Instead, it shows the values of the SAP customizing
tables.
For the symptoms defined above, try the following:
Maintain a valid country for tax jurisdiction code determination with
external providers.
Maintain valid address data. If you are not sure if your current data is
correct, you can delete some values, except the country. External
providers show complete address information in the search help so that
you can select the desired address, including the tax jurisdiction code.
Contact your basis teams to check the connection to external providers.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
