What causes this issue?

When master data packages are distributed, authorization object
USMD_DIST is used to check the authorizations. Any master data packages
that you cannot distribute due to your authorization profile are not
displayed.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check if authorization object USMD_DIST exists in one of your
authorization profile roles. If not, the authorization object must be
added with the appropriate settings. If it does, extend the
authorizations of authorization object USMD_DIST accordingly.
