What causes this issue?

The edition has the status <LS>Marked for Release</> or <LS>Released</>.
Therefore, you can no longer change the master data in this edition.

System Response

You cannot switch to change mode.

How to fix this error?

If the edition has the status <LS>Marked for Release</> and you want to
change the edition, you need to set the status of the edition to <LS>In
Process</>.
If the edition has the status <LS>Released</>, you can no longer change
this edition.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
