Therefore, to avoid inconsistencies, the system automatically removes

The system prompts you to apply the following required changes:
Variants for deactivated entity types are automatically deleted.
If you do not apply the required changes, the system does not remove the
variants.
Choose Cancel if you do not want to deactivate the entity type and
remove the variants based on this entity type.
Choose Apply Required Changes or Apply All Changes to deactivate the
entity type and remove the variants based on this entity type.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
