What causes this issue?

Characteristic &V1& (&V2) is required as a compound characteristic.
However, the characteristic is not in the realignment tool field
selection.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Add this characteristic to the realignment tool metadata.
