What causes this issue?

You have attempted to carry out one of the following activities:
In a row of the layout, you want to use a fixed characteristic value
for characteristic, for which a variable is planned in the level.
You want to use a variable with a negative offset for a characteristic.

System Response

Lead row &V1& will be converted into a write-protected comparison row.

How to fix this error?

If you want to change data in the row, carry out one of the following
activities:
Instead of a fixed characteristic value, use a reference to the
assigned variable, if necessary completed by an offset.
Instead of a negative offset, use a selection for the variable which
starts with a lower initial value.
