Message text: Cursor is in Edit mode in a cell or Excel is damaged
At the moment MS Excel is not repsonding or is damaged. This typically
occurs when you were executing an activity in Editor mode. But there
could also be a serious error with Excel.
No data could be read from MS Excel; the activity could not be
executed.
Try to execute your last action again. Make sure that you are not in
the Editor mode in Excel (you can find information about the status of
Excel in its status line, for example). If you cannot correct the error
in this way then you will have to terminate manual planning or the
processing of the layout.
Very rarely Excel still does not repsond after terminating the activity.
Then no other layouts can be processed or displayed and also no manual
planning can be executed. In this case exit manual planning and start
again. If this is not sufficient then please close the session in which
the error occurred.
If MS Excel still does not respond, log off the system and check your
Excel installation. A simple reason for the error might be that you
are trying to use manual planning functions without having MS Excel
installed on your PC.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
