SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: UPF - Planning Functions

  • Message number: 073

  • Message text: Formulas still exist and will become syntactically incorrect

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You have carried out a change in a formula function, for which at least
one parameter group with formula exists. The changes carried out by you
on the formula function make the existing formula syntactically
incorrect, and incompatible with the definition of the formula
function. This is for example always the case if the number of fields
to be changed alter, because this way the syntactically predefined
structure of the formula operands changes.

    System Response

You can no longer execute parameter groups that belong to the changed
formula function, and already contain a formula.

    How to fix this error?

    Correct the formula.
