What causes this issue?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Attribute selection delivers more than 10,000 characteristic values.
Such a large number of values is not intended and cannot be processed by
the internal structures in the program. This restriction is in place
because of the negative effect such a large number of characteristic
values has on performance.

How to fix this error?

Further restrict the range of characteristic values to the attribute so
that no more than 10,000 characteristic values canbe selected in the
attribute selection.
