    A planning area can contain characteristics that must be present in all
    planning levels of the planning area. An example of this is the
    automatically-generated characteristic "planning area". This enables
    the assignment of key figures to a Basis planning area in a
    multi-planning area.
    You have attempted to delete such a characteristic. It is not possible
    to do this.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
