What causes this issue?

The characteristic &V2& is restricted by the value selection &V3& in a
selection condition. However, the restriction of the parent
characteristic in the value selection &V3& is different.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Adjust the restriction of the parent characteristic &V1& or delete it.
In the latter case, the system automatically uses the restriction in the
value selection.
