- Query &1 is no longer assigned to data basis &2 ?The SAP error message UGX2225 indicates that a query (identified by &1) is no longer assigned to the specified data basis (identified by &2). This typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BI (Business Intelligence) when there is a disconnection between a query and its underlying data source.
Causes:
- Data Source Changes: The underlying data source (InfoProvider, InfoCube, etc.) has been changed, deleted, or is no longer available.
- Query Deletion: The query itself may have been deleted or modified in a way that it no longer references the correct data source.
- Transport Issues: If the query was transported from one system to another, there may be inconsistencies in the data source assignments.
- Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to access the data source, leading to the query being unable to retrieve data.
- Data Model Changes: Changes in the data model, such as changes in the structure of the InfoProvider, can lead to this error.
Solutions:
- Check Data Source: Verify that the data source (InfoProvider) is still available and correctly configured. Ensure that it has not been deleted or modified.
- Reassign Query: If the query is no longer assigned to the data source, you may need to reassign it. This can be done in the Query Designer by opening the query and checking the data source settings.
- Transport Check: If the issue arose after a transport, check the transport logs for any errors or inconsistencies. Ensure that all necessary objects were transported correctly.
- Authorization Check: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access the data source. This may involve checking roles and authorizations in the SAP system.
- Recreate Query: If the query cannot be fixed, consider recreating it from scratch, ensuring that it is correctly linked to the appropriate data source.
- Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific error message for additional troubleshooting steps or patches.
