What causes this issue?

You have chosen Edit -> Select/Deselect data models. With this
function, you can select or deselect all data models in a sub-tree. You
must place the cursor on a data model. The cursor is not currently
positioned on a data model.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Place the cursor on a data modell and choose the function again.
