What causes this issue?

You marked the checkbox <LS>Reference restriction</>. This is not
allowed for this relationship, since this attribute can only be
specified for relationships of the category "referential" (R), where
the cardinality of the source entity has the value 'C' (see F1 help for
the checkbox).

The entered value was reset.
