    To download a characteristic (such as consolidation group), you enter an
    upload method and a file on the selection screen for the download
    function. These methods and files must be either all identical or all
    different for the <LS>consolidation group</> or <LS>consolidation unit
    </> role.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Adjust the values you entered on the selection screen for the download
    function based on the following example:
    If you want to generate download files for master data as well as
    consolidation group hierarchies, you need to apply one of the following
    options when you enter your values on the selection screen:
    Case 1:
    Master data => Method: UPL_1,,File: C:\file1.txt
    Hierarchies => Method: UPL_1,,File: C:\file1.txt
    Case 2:
    Master data => Method: UPL_1,,File: C:\file1.txt
    Hierarchies => Method: UPL_2,,File: C:\file2.txt
