What causes this issue?

You have deactivated all views of the workbench for a user. This setting
is not allowed.

System Response

The system automatically deletes the view selection for the role.

How to fix this error?

The workbench cannot be used without views. At least one view must be
selected. If a user with this role really does not want to use the
workbench, you can do this by restricting the authorization for
transactions.
If in the role, no decision is to be made on the possible views in the
workbench, use the standard setting for the selection of views.
