What causes this issue?

You are executing the &V1& task for a non-initial restatement
characteristic value. You define the reference data for the restatement
characteristic value in the master data for the restatement
characteristic value:
Reference to the original data
Reference to another non-initial restatement
No reference
When executing automatic posting tasks in the restatement monitor, the
system uses a "delta" procedure in the restatement dimension:
The system calculates the total documents for the restatement
characteristic value of the current task execution internally based on
the total data read (that is, the data both in the current restatement
characteristic value and in the reference restatements).
For the posting, the system calculates the difference between the total
documents for the current restatement characteristic value and the
documents that have already been posted for the reference restatements
of the current restatement characteristic value. The system posts the
result of this calculation (the "delta") for the current restatement
characteristic value to the document database.
In "Restatement" reporting mode, the documents of the reference
restatements are also valid for the current restatement.
The system displays the delta documents in the task log by default. You
can display the total documents by choosing the "Choose Different
Layout" pushbutton.
If there is <ZH>no</> total document to be posted in the current
restatement, the system posts a logical reversal of the documents from
the reference restatements in the current restatement. The system does
<ZH>not</> display these logical reversal documents in the task log.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

To post the delta documents in the current restatement, you need to
execute the task &V1& in update mode.
