Message type: E = Error
Message class: UCM0 - Messages for Data Basis, Cons Area, ...
Message number: 240
Message text: Data basis &1: Multiple fields with "Restatement" role are not permitted
In data basis &V1& on the <LS>Data Model</> tab page, you have assigned
the <LS>Restatement</> role to more than one field in the <LS>Role
Assignment for Totals Record Fields</> section.
Only <ZH>one</> field can be assigned to the <LS>Restatement</> role in
the SEM-BCS data model, however.
The Customizing settings for data basis &V1& are inconsistent and cannot
be saved.
Adjust the data model for data basis &V1& by retaining only <ZH>one</>
field with the <LS>Restatement</> role.
If you want to activate the <LS>Restatement of Consolidation
Group-Dependent Postings</> function in a consolidation area that is
assigned to data basis &V1&, you need a restatement field that has
master data (such as the field that is based on InfoObject 0BCS_RSTM).
It is <ZH>not</> permitted to use the 7-character period as a
restatement in this case.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Modify Field Roles:
- If you find multiple fields with the "Restatement" role, you will need to decide which field should retain this role.
- Change the role of the other fields to a different appropriate role that does not conflict with the "Restatement" designation.
Validate Changes: After making the necessary changes, validate the data model to ensure that the error is resolved and that the data integrity is maintained.
Test the Configuration: Run tests to ensure that the data processing and reporting functions correctly with the updated configuration.
