is also explicitly contained in the data basis and has the role "fixed
in the consolidation area". Therefore, the value of characteristic &V3&
needs to be defined as a single value in the customizing settings of the
consolidation area.
However, at the same time, the system processes multiple values of
characteristic &V2& , which can be assigned any valid value of attribute
&V3& in the master record.
Therefore, the definition of the data model of data basis &V1& may be
inconsistent.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Decide whether characteristic &V3& in data basis &V1& should have the
role "fixed in the consolidation area".
In the data model, check whether the value of the attribute of
characteristic &V2& (with the same name) also needs to match the value
in the consolidation area - for all characteristic values to be
processed in the consolidation area.
If this is true, make sure that the respective value of attribute &V3&
is indeed defined in the customizing settings of characteristic &V2&.
However, if you want the value of the attribute to be variable or you
also want to allow an initialized value (meaning that the assignment in
the master record is merely optional), then the current data model might
be inconsistent.
You can roughly achieve the desired constellation without any ambiguity
by dispensing with the identity of the attribute with the custom
characteristic of the data basis. For example, in BW you can create a
new InfoObject that references InfoObject &V4& , and then use the new
InfoObject (instead of &V4&) as the attribute of characteristic &V2&.
