What causes this issue?

Data basis &V1& is supposed to contain the dependent characteristic
&V2&. However, the associated independent characteristic &V3& is not
allocated to the data basis.

System Response

Field catalog of data basis &V1& is inconsistent and cannot be saved.

How to fix this error?

If you want to use characteristic &V2& in data basis &V1&, you must
also add characteristic &V3&.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
