  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The parent indicator has not been set in any of the groups &V1&. This
causes consolidation of investments to use erroneous group shares.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Select the parent indicator for at least one characteristic with the
role "consolidation unit". You can do this in the accounting technique
definitions when you restrict the accounting technique to consolidation
    group &V1&.
Furthermore, make sure that the consolidation units flagged as parent
units are valid in the current period. You can check this in the
validities of the combinations and by examining the dates of first
consolidation and divestiture accounting for the consolidation unit.
There also needs to be a second consolidation unit that is <ZH>not</>
    flagged as a parent unit.
In combinations of consolidation groups it is sufficient to select the
parent indicator in only one dimension. In this case, the system treats
all combinations that contain parent units as parents.
