What causes this issue?

You are using inheritance or substitution on a higher level of a
multilevel step hierarchy. Certain information is presently redundant
both on the level on which the Customizing settings were made as well as
on subordinate method steps. This can have undesired consequences during
method execution.

System Response

The system will automatically purge the redundant inheritance
information in method &V1&.

How to fix this error?

Save the settings.
