- Changes to the schedule records are not permitted in dynamic scheduling ?The SAP error message TU192, which states "Changes to the schedule records are not permitted in dynamic scheduling," typically occurs in the context of production planning and scheduling within SAP. This error indicates that the system is set to dynamic scheduling mode, which restricts certain changes to scheduling records that are already established.
Cause:
- Dynamic Scheduling Mode: The system is configured to use dynamic scheduling, which means that scheduling is handled automatically by the system based on real-time data. In this mode, manual changes to scheduling records are not allowed to maintain the integrity of the scheduling process.
- Locked Records: The scheduling records may be locked due to ongoing processes or transactions that are currently being executed.
- User Permissions: The user may not have the necessary permissions to make changes to the scheduling records.
Solution:
- Switch to Static Scheduling: If you need to make changes to the schedule records, consider switching from dynamic scheduling to static scheduling. This can be done in the configuration settings of the production planning module. However, be cautious as this may affect the overall scheduling process.
- Check for Locks: Ensure that there are no active processes or transactions that are locking the scheduling records. You can check for locks using transaction code SM12.
- User Permissions: Verify that the user has the appropriate permissions to make changes to scheduling records. If not, contact your SAP administrator to adjust the user roles and permissions.
- Review Scheduling Parameters: Check the scheduling parameters in the configuration settings to ensure they align with your business requirements. This may involve consulting with your SAP PP (Production Planning) consultant.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for more detailed information on dynamic scheduling and its implications.
