Message text: & BSP applications from an earlier selection still need to be generated
The system has found BSP applications that still need to be generated
(for example, from an earlier selection or due to an earlier generation
run being terminated).
There is currently no generation job active or scheduled.
The system can now continue processing the found objects or you can use
your selection to compile a new generation set (stored in DB table
<DS:TB.GENSETC>GENSETC</>).
If you want to use the list of objects that still need generating, or
want to regenerate all objects of the previous run, on the menu choose
Regenerate the objects of the last run. The next screen, Number of
objects generated during the last run, allows you to choose between the
following options:
Restart: Only those objects of the generation set that were not
generated in the last run, or whose generation was terminated due to a
system error, are generated.
Regeneration: All objects of the generation set that was defined in the
last run, are regenerated.
If the generation set during the last run is no longer used, then
select one of the other options on the initial screen of the
transaction and then choose continue to execute. The generation set
that was identified at the beginning of this message is then discarded
and replaced with your new selection.

TSGEN011
- & BSP applications from an earlier selection still need to be generated ?The SAP error message TSGEN011 indicates that there are still BSP (Business Server Pages) applications that need to be generated from an earlier selection. This typically occurs during the generation of BSP applications when the system detects that not all required components have been processed.
Cause:
- Incomplete Generation: The BSP applications may not have been fully generated due to a previous error or interruption in the generation process.
- Dependencies: There may be dependencies or prerequisites that have not been met, preventing the complete generation of the BSP applications.
- System Configuration: Issues with the system configuration or settings related to the BSP applications can also lead to this error.
Solution:
Re-run the Generation: Go to the transaction code SE80 (Object Navigator) or SE38 (ABAP Editor) and re-run the generation process for the BSP applications. Ensure that you select the correct options and that the system is not interrupted during this process.
Check for Errors: Review the logs or messages generated during the previous attempts to identify any specific errors that may have occurred. You can check transaction SLG1 for application logs related to BSP generation.
Clear Buffer: Sometimes, clearing the buffer can help resolve issues. You can do this by using transaction code SMLT or by executing the command
/n/iwfnd/maint_service
to refresh the service.Check Dependencies: Ensure that all necessary components and dependencies for the BSP applications are correctly configured and available. This may include checking for missing transport requests or ensuring that all required objects are activated.
System Restart: In some cases, a system restart may help clear any temporary issues that are causing the generation to fail.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP Notes or documentation related to BSP applications for any specific instructions or known issues that may apply to your version of SAP.
