What causes this issue?

The table has a key field of type String.
The table key cannot be entered directly because in this case the length
information of the string field would be missing.

How to fix this error?

To modify a key, simply doubleclick the key in question. To add a key,
doubleclick an empty row.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
