Message text: Cluster table in foreign package/development class
The cluster table does not belong to a package/development class in the
delivery component.
Cluster tables that belong to packages/development classes from other
delivery components are not delivered by add-ons.
Making modifications to a cluster table can increase the runtime of
upgrades significantly, since a data conversion may be required.
The system displays the relevant entries in the results overview in the
object list check.
Check whether the cluster table has been modified.
It is possible that the table has not been modified and has been added
to the delivery request by mistake. If this is the case, remove the
table from the request by selecting the entry and choosing <LS>Correct
Entries</>.
If the Basis release is lower than 7.00, no cluster table is allowed to
be delivered. If this is the case, remove the table from the request by
selecting the entry and choosing <LS>Correct Entries</>.
From Basis Release 7.00, you can create append structures for cluster
tables. If the table has been modified, check whether the modification
can be replaced by append structures. If this is the case, remove the
table from the request by selecting the entry and choosing <LS>Correct
Entries</>, and then include the append structures in the request.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Cluster table in foreign package/development class ?The SAP error message TR_AUSL626 indicates that there is an issue with a cluster table being assigned to a foreign package or development class. This typically occurs when a cluster table is created or modified in a package that is not intended for such objects, which can lead to issues with transport management and system integrity.
Cause:
- Cluster Table in Foreign Package: The primary cause of this error is that the cluster table is defined in a package that is not designated for development objects, or it is in a package that is not authorized to contain such objects.
- Transport Issues: Cluster tables are special types of database tables in SAP that are used to store data in a compressed format. They are usually associated with specific packages, and placing them in the wrong package can lead to transport issues when moving objects between different SAP systems.
Solution:
Change the Package: Move the cluster table to the appropriate package that is designated for development objects. This can be done using the transaction SE11 (Data Dictionary) or SE80 (Object Navigator).
- Open the cluster table in SE11.
- Change the package to the correct one that is authorized for cluster tables.
- Save and activate the changes.
Check Authorization: Ensure that the package you are trying to use is authorized for the creation of cluster tables. You may need to consult with your SAP Basis or development team to verify the package settings.
Transport Request: If the cluster table is already in a transport request, you may need to adjust the transport request to ensure it is correctly assigned to the appropriate package.
Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or notes related to cluster tables and package management for any specific guidelines or restrictions.
Related Information:
If you continue to experience issues after following these steps, it may be beneficial to consult with SAP support or your internal SAP team for further assistance.
