Message type: E = Error
Message class: TR_AUSL - Software Delivery Composer Messages
Message number: 515
Message text: Object from invalid software component (&1, for package/dev. class &2):
The current delivery request &V4& is a Conflict Resolution Transport for
the software component <ZH>&V3&</>, but it contains modified objects
from another software component <ZH>&V1&</> (in package/development
class <ZH>&V2&</>).
A CRT (Conflict Resolution Transport) may contain only objects from its
own software component or the corresponding software component.
The system displays the relevant objects in the results of the object
list check.
If you have selected the option <LS>Additional modification information
</> in the results overview under <LS>Settings -> Displayed
Categories/Options</>, the modified objects will be further divided into
modification types. (See:
<DS:DT.TR_AUSL_HELP_CHK_MODIF_TYPES>Modification Types</>)
Check whether the software component &V3& that is assigned to the
current CRT &V4& is correct. If it is, you must remove the corresponding
objects from the CRT. To do this, select them and choose <LS>Correct
Selected Entries</>.
If the objects are delivery-relevant, you must either use another CRT or
an Add-On Support Package to deliver the objects that belong to another
software component.

- Object from invalid software component (&1, for package/dev. class &2): ?The SAP error message TR_AUSL515 indicates that there is an issue with an object that belongs to an invalid software component. This typically occurs during transport management when trying to transport objects that are not correctly assigned to a valid software component or package.
Cause:
- Invalid Software Component: The object you are trying to transport is associated with a software component that is not recognized or is not valid in the target system.
- Package/Development Class Issues: The package or development class associated with the object may not exist in the target system or may not be correctly configured.
- Transport Directory Issues: There may be issues with the transport directory or the transport request itself, leading to inconsistencies.
Solution:
- Check Software Component: Verify that the software component associated with the object is valid and exists in the target system. You can do this by checking the software component configuration in the SAP system.
- Validate Package/Development Class: Ensure that the package or development class associated with the object is correctly defined and exists in the target system. If it does not exist, you may need to create it or adjust the transport request.
- Adjust Transport Request: If the transport request is incorrect, you may need to remove the invalid objects from the transport request and re-create the transport request with valid objects.
- Use Transaction SE01/SE09: Use transaction SE01 or SE09 to manage transport requests and check for any inconsistencies or errors in the transport request.
- Check Transport Directory: Ensure that the transport directory is correctly set up and that there are no issues with the transport files.
