SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: TR - Change and Transport System

  • Message number: 291

  • Message text: Choose another package for reservation &1 &2 &3

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

    You cannot choose package &V4&.
The package must belong to the same namespace as the reserved name
range &V3& for object type &V1& &V2&, and a generally used, local
    package may not be entered.
For name ranges with <DS:DE.NAMESPACE>namespace</> prefixes, you can
    only choose a prefix package.
For partner name ranges, you can only choose a package that contains
    the <DS:DE.NR_PROJECT>partner project number</>.
The package should give reservations a unique project assignment. It is
only by the assignment to a regular project package that you can
document that you would like to use a name range exclusively. For this
reason, you are not allowed to enter the package $TMP used in all
projects. (To allow you to create local objects within your project
(package $TMP), which can later be reassigned to your project package,
objects can also be created in package $TMP, differing from but with
    reference to the reservation entered.)
