Message type: E = Error
Message class: TPM_TRPR - Message Class for Partner for Payment Requests
Message number: 210
Message text: Name of business partner is too long
The name of the business partner is too long. Consequently, it is not
possible to transfer the complete name to the payment medium. This
discrepancy in name length arises because the name field in the address
data allows 40 characters whereas the name fields in the payment
transactions are shorter (for example, the default field length for
SWIFT is only 35 characters).
You can use the settings in this message to specify whether the system
transfers the name in shortened form to the payment medium or whether
the system transfers the complete name using the subsequent name fields
(provided that the payment medium format recognizes the subsequent name
fields):
Message type I
The name is shortened by default.
Message type S
The part of the name that is cut off is moved to the subsequent name
field, whereby the content of the fourth and in some cases the third
name field is not transferred.
Message is deactivated
The words forming the name are distributed across the name fields (using
the spaces between words to identify individual words).
