  • What causes this issue?

    The flow with update type &V1& affects a position component that is not
    assigned to the subledger position in valuation area &V2&
    According to your settings in Customizing, a repayment flow should
    reduce the "Repayment" position component. However, the position is not
    assigned to a position management category for which this compoment is
    defined.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    In Customizing in the activity<DS:SIMG.TR_FS_ART_BESTFTBETR> Set the
    Effects of the Update Types on the Position Components</>, check whether
    the update type &V1&was assigned the correct position management
    category.
    If these settings are correct, check the activity
    <DS:SIMG.FTR_BESTFVERFDEF> Define Position Management Procedure</> to
    see whether the position management procedure &V4& has been assigned the
    correct position management category.
