• Message text: Dimensions (of UoM) of the comm. ID and quotation name do not match

What causes this issue?

The dimensions of the units of measure for the commodity ID and the
quotation name entered are different.

System Response

The system issues an error message.

How to fix this error?

You have two options:
Change the UoM of the quotation name (CPE quotation name linked to the
Treasury quotation name)
You do this in Customizing for <LS>Treasury and Risk Management </>under
-> <LS>Basic Functions -> Market Data Management -> Master Data ->
Commodities -> Commodities (Logistic, CPE) -></><ZK>
<DS:SIMG.CPEV_QUOTNAME>Define Quotation Name</></>
Change the UoM of the commodity ID.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
