What causes this issue?

You want to update to the general ledger with accounting rule &V4& for
accounting code &V2& in valuation area &V3&. However, special purpose

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

ledger &V1& does not keep line items for the source company code and
the RFBU activity.
However this is a requirement to enable postings from Transaction
Manager into special ledger &V1& to be reversed.

How to fix this error?

Make the appropriate settings so that special purpose ledger &V1& can
manage line items. Or you can update to a different special purpose
ledger with line items by entering a different accounting rule or
assigning a different ledger to the rule.
