What causes this issue?

In the differentiation terms of a position, the differentiation
criteria that are required for the preliminary solution are not
fulfilled. These differentiation criteria are:
Company code
Securities account or securities account group
Security ID number

System Response

No account assignment reference can be determined in the operative
valuation area from which a new account assignment reference for an
additional valuation area can be derived.
The activity is terminated.

How to fix this error?

In Customizing, check the selection of the relevant differentiation
criteria for the partition of positions.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
