The SAP error message TPM_AD808 indicates that an entry in the Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) module, specifically related to the Asset Management (TPM) area, has been changed and therefore cannot be deleted. This error typically arises when there are dependencies or references to the entry that prevent its deletion.

    Cause:

    1. Data Integrity: The entry you are trying to delete has been modified, and SAP's data integrity rules prevent deletion to ensure that related data remains consistent.
    2. Dependencies: There may be other transactions, documents, or records that reference the entry you are attempting to delete.
    3. Status of the Entry: The entry might be in a status that does not allow deletion (e.g., it could be locked or in a completed state).

    Solution:

    1. Check Dependencies: Review any related transactions or documents that may be linked to the entry. You can use transaction codes like TPM1, TPM2, or TPM3 to check the status and dependencies of the entries.
    2. Change Status: If the entry is in a status that prevents deletion, you may need to change its status to allow for deletion. This could involve reversing or completing related transactions.
    3. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help files for specific instructions on handling entries in the TPM module.
    4. Use Transaction Codes: Utilize transaction codes such as TPM1 (to display), TPM2 (to change), or TPM3 (to delete) to manage the entries properly.
    5. Contact Support: If you are unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to your SAP support team or consulting with SAP experts for further assistance.

    Related Information:

    • SAP Notes: Check for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error or provide additional troubleshooting steps.
    • Transaction Logs: Review transaction logs to understand what changes were made to the entry and why it is now in a state that prevents deletion.
    • User Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to delete entries in the TPM module, as restrictions may also lead to this error.
