  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

A system switch took place during debugging. The Debugger UI and the
debuggee (the application being debugged) are running on different
systems now. Some Debugger tools cannot work with this separation
betweeen Debugger and debuggee, because, for example, they access
Repository objects from the Debugger that do not correspond to the
debuggee (that is running on a different system).

    System Response

In the scenario described, those tools that cannot be used remotely are
not offered in the Debugger dialog "New Tools". If a tool that cannot be
used remotely is already open when a system switch takes place, an error
message notifies the user that it may no longer function correctly.
The tools that cannot be used remotely are:
Trace Tool: The SQL trace and the SE30 trace are created on the debuggee
side. However, the evaluation of the reading of the trace takes place on
    the Debugger side.
Web Dynpro Tool: The Web Dynpro runtime objects are supplied on the
debuggee side. However, miscellaneous Repository information from the
active Web Dypro application is analyzed on the Debugger side.
Dynpro Tool: As with the Web Dynpro Tool, runtime information and
Repository information is supplied from the debuggee or Debugger.

    How to fix this error?

The tools named above cannot be used in most cases in a remote scenario
    and must be closed.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
