What causes this issue?

You have selected the software component &V1& for uninstallation.
Currently this is only supported for upgrades or product conversions in
Software Update Manager (SUM). For more information, see note &V2&.

The uninstallation process is not started.

How to fix this error?

If you only want to run the check steps of the uninstallation process,
you can do this using Add-On Installation Tool (SAINT). Switch to the
test scenario before proceeding. You can do this in the settings, which
you can access from the menu: <LS>Extras -> Settings</>.
