The network parameters for logging on to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend are
incorrect.
This error always occurs when RFC (Remote Function Call) cannot
establish a connection to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend. This could be due to
the following reasons:
You have not configured the network parameters for logging on to the
SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (Transaction OSS1).
You have a network problem
The function terminates. The Support Package is not downloaded
Use Transaction OSS1 to configure the network parameters for logging on
to SAPNet - R/3 Frontend and save your changes. The RFC destination
SAPOSS, used to download Support Packages, is maintained automatically
when you update.
Then call the Support Package Manager (Transaction SPAM) and try again
to download the Support Packages into your system. If this fails, go to
point 3.
Create a problem message in SAPNet - R/3 Frontend and assign it to the
application area <ZH>XX-SER-NET</>. The network hotline will deal with
your problem and get in touch with you.
