This locking mechanism is in place to prevent conflicts and ensure data integrity during development and transport processes.

    Cause:

    3. Release the Lock: If you have the necessary authorizations, you can manually release the lock from transaction SM12. Be cautious when doing this, as it may disrupt the work of the user who holds the lock.
    4. Check Transport Requests: If the object is part of a transport request, ensure that the request is not currently being processed. You can check this in transaction SE09 or SE10.
    5. Contact Basis Team: If you are unable to resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact your SAP Basis team for assistance. They can help identify the cause of the lock and take appropriate action.
