  • What causes this issue?

    The new global system change option setting was saved.
    The new setting applies to all new sessions. The new setting does not
    apply to any sessions already running in parallel, since these sessions
    usually read the system setting from a buffered context and not directly
    from the database (for performance reasons).

    System Response

    Under certain conditions, it is still possible to make system changes in
    a session running in parallel.

    How to fix this error?

    To prevent this, any parallel session must be terminated, for example by
    using transaction SE51.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
