Message type: E = Error
Message class: TK - Transport Organizer
Message number: 410
Message text: System change option saved (does not apply to parallel sessions)
The new global system change option setting was saved.
The new setting applies to all new sessions. The new setting does not
apply to any sessions already running in parallel, since these sessions
usually read the system setting from a buffered context and not directly
from the database (for performance reasons).
Under certain conditions, it is still possible to make system changes in
a session running in parallel.
To prevent this, any parallel session must be terminated, for example by
using transaction SE51.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

TK410
- System change option saved (does not apply to parallel sessions) ?The SAP error message TK410 ("System change option saved (does not apply to parallel sessions)") typically occurs when a user attempts to make changes in a system that is not allowed due to the current system settings or user authorizations. This message indicates that the changes you are trying to make are saved, but they will not take effect in parallel sessions.
Cause:
- User Authorization: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to make changes in the system.
- System Configuration: The system may be configured to restrict certain changes in parallel sessions to prevent inconsistencies.
- Session Management: SAP restricts certain operations in parallel sessions to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Solution:
- Check Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to perform the actions they are attempting. This can be done by checking the user's roles and authorizations in the SAP system.
- Single Session: Try to perform the changes in a single session rather than in parallel sessions. Close other sessions and attempt the operation again.
- System Settings: Consult with your SAP Basis or system administrator to review the system settings related to change options and parallel session handling. They may need to adjust configurations if necessary.
- Transaction Codes: If you are using specific transaction codes, ensure that they are allowed for your user role and that you are following the correct procedures for making changes.
