  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message TK180 - Repaired objects cannot be included in dev./correction &1 ?

The SAP error message TK180 ("Repaired objects cannot be included in dev./correction &1") typically occurs when you are trying to include objects that have been repaired in a transport request, but those objects are not eligible to be included in the transport request due to their status.

    Cause:

    1. Repaired Objects: The objects in question have been repaired directly in the production environment or in a different environment and are not part of the development environment's transport request.
    2. Transport Request Status: The transport request you are trying to include the objects in may not be in a state that allows for the inclusion of repaired objects.
    3. Object Locking: The objects may be locked or in a state that prevents them from being included in a transport request.

    Solution:

    1. Check Object Status: Verify the status of the objects you are trying to include. If they are marked as repaired, you may need to create a new transport request specifically for these objects.
    2. Create a New Transport Request: If the objects are repaired, create a new transport request and include the repaired objects in that request.
    3. Use the Correct Transport Method: Ensure that you are using the correct method for transporting repaired objects. Sometimes, you may need to use a different transport method or process.
    4. Consult with Basis Team: If you are unsure about the status of the objects or how to proceed, consult with your SAP Basis team. They can provide insights into the transport landscape and help resolve any issues related to object status or transport requests.
    5. Check for Locks: Ensure that there are no locks on the objects that would prevent them from being included in the transport request.

    Related Information:

    • Transport Management System (TMS): Familiarize yourself with the TMS in SAP, as it governs how transports are managed and moved between different environments (Development, Quality Assurance, Production).
