The SAP error message "TK002 &1 is locked in request/task &2, display only" typically indicates that a transport request or task is locked, preventing changes from being made to it. This can occur in various scenarios, such as when a transport request is being edited by another user or when a previous transport process has not been completed.

    Cause:

    1. Concurrent Access: Another user is currently editing the transport request or task.

    Solution:

    1. Check Lock Status:

      • If another user is working on the request, you may need to wait until they finish and release the lock.
    3. Complete Pending Processes:

      • Ensure that any pending transport processes are completed. This may involve checking the transport logs or using transaction STMS to monitor transport requests.
    4. Transport Organizer:

      • If the request is in a released state, you may need to create a new transport request for further changes.
