What causes this issue?

The language selected and the original language of the style are not
the same.

System Response

Only the short texts can therefore be maintained. If there are no short
texts for the language selected, texts in the original language are
made available for translation.

How to fix this error?

Styles can only be fully maintained in the original language. The
original language is the language in which a style was created. If you
wish to update a style, you must select the original language of the
style in order to maintain it.
