What causes this issue?

You tried to read the individual trace switches from the current
system. However, the trace mechanism is completely switched off. The
individual switches are then invalid.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

The editor contents remain unchanged. You can retrieve them from the
database or buffer, or maintain them manually.
