  • What causes this issue?

    The trace system uses switches that are created in the shared memory
    segment 'SCSA'. The system cannot currently access these swtiches.

    System Response

    The trace system does not work. It remains switched off.

    How to fix this error?

    Look for the error in the syslog that resulted in the SCSA being
    missing or unuseable.
    When you have corrected the error, restart the instance (the SAP
    application server).
