  • Message class: T5 - SAPphone: Messages for telephony

  • Message number: 133

  • Message text: External program does not support this function (version < &1)

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Function &V2& was called and the system checked whether the external
CTI gateway software has the minimum required version &V1& for
executing the function. The version number of the software (&V4&),
which is saved on server &V3& in SAPphone system administration, is
used for the check. This version is not sufficient for executing the
    function.

    System Response

The system cannot execute the function, because the function is not
made available by the external CTI gateway software. An error would
terminate the RFC connection between the SAP System and the external
    CTI gateway software.

    How to fix this error?

    Inform your system administrator.

    Procedure for System Administrators

Either the external CTI gateway software is an old version and does not
support the required function, or the version number has not been
updated. In the first case, a new version of the program must be
installed. In the second case, you should carry out a connection test
in the maintenance interface for server &V3&.
