    Document templates are assigned when creating workflow definitions. A
    new workflow definition does not yet have a unique ID. It only gets
    this after saving. Only after this can document templates be assigned.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Save the workflow definition and select <LS>Create document template</>
    again.
