SWRD013
- Check the loop condition for step '&', 'negative' is missing ?The SAP error message SWRD013, which states "Check the loop condition for step '&', 'negative' is missing," typically occurs in the context of workflow definitions in SAP Business Workflow. This error indicates that there is an issue with the loop condition defined for a specific step in the workflow.
Cause:
The error arises when a loop condition is expected for a workflow step, but the condition is not properly defined or is missing a necessary component, specifically the 'negative' condition. This can happen due to:
- Incorrect Workflow Configuration: The loop condition may not have been set up correctly in the workflow definition.
- Missing Conditions: The workflow may require a negative condition to be explicitly defined, which is not present.
- Changes in Workflow Logic: If the workflow logic has been modified, it may have inadvertently removed or altered the loop conditions.
Solution:
To resolve the SWRD013 error, you can follow these steps:
Check Workflow Definition:
- Open the workflow definition in the SAP Business Workflow Builder (transaction code SWDD).
- Locate the step indicated in the error message (replace '&' with the actual step name).
- Review the loop conditions associated with that step.
Define Loop Conditions:
- Ensure that both positive and negative conditions are defined for the loop. If the negative condition is missing, add it.
- You can do this by selecting the loop condition and editing it to include the necessary criteria.
Validate Workflow:
- After making changes, validate the workflow to ensure there are no other errors or warnings.
- Use the "Check" function in the workflow builder to identify any additional issues.
Test the Workflow:
- Once the changes are made, test the workflow to ensure that it functions as expected without triggering the error.
Consult Documentation:
- If you are unsure about how to define loop conditions, refer to SAP documentation or workflow design guidelines for best practices.
Seek Help from Colleagues or SAP Support:
- If the issue persists, consider reaching out to colleagues who have experience with SAP workflows or contact SAP support for assistance.
