Message type: E = Error
Message class: SWF_TRC - Workflow trace
Message number: 304
Message text: Trace for component &1 not active; activate the component
You want to create or change traces for a component; however, the
component concerned is not active.
In addition to changing a trace, the change functions also include
options for activating, deactivating, and propagating traces. A change
to a trace only normally only takes effect once you have activated the
component.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You can make your changes and then activate the trace component. To do
so, use the menu or the toolbar function in the current application.
<ZH>Note:</> Running processes only recognize that a component has been
deactivated when the check for active traces is performed. Consequently,
trace data may continue to be written even though you have already
deactivated the component.
