How to fix this error?

Enter a user ID which does not contain the following characters:
! " $ % ' ( ) * + <(>,<)> . / : ; < = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ ` { | } ~
Note: If you enter lowercase letters (a-z), User Maintenance
(transaction SU01) converts lowercase letters to uppercase letters
(A-Z).
