What causes this issue?

This task list contains tasks using S/4HANA content functions. These
tasks define and use parameters in a special way. Variants cannot
support this kind of parameters.

System Response

You cannot create a variant.

How to fix this error?

If you intend to select or skip single tasks you can use the scoping
functions in the parameter display of the first task in the task list.
If you intend to change parameter values you need to contact the author
of the content.
